LACHLAN BASSINGTHWAIGHTE

Director

Born and raised at Wallendbeen, Lachlan completed his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of New England before embarking on a career in Stock & Options Trading for Bell Potter Securities in Sydney.  A “green change” saw him and his wife, Mary, move to Cootamundra in 2005 where he started his career as a Livestock Agent and Auctioneer.

Lachlan is a father of three (Sam, Charlie & Arabella) and enjoys horse riding, rugby and the beach.

ADAM RANDALL

Livestock Agent

Adam was born and bred at Bethungra and has almost 20 years’ experience as a Livestock Agent in the region.  Both a family and community minded man, Adam joined BLM in 2017.  As father of three (Jack, Amy & George) and husband of Emma, Adam’s strong family values fit perfectly with BLM’s aims to service family businesses in the area.  As a member of several local committees, including the Show Society, Adam has a good understanding of local agriculture and works closely with his clients to market and meet their livestock requirements.

Adam was named Rural Achiever of the year in 2005 by the Royal Agricultural Society.  He has a keen interest in rugby and his family.

MARY BASSINGTHWAIGHTE

Administration

Mary joined Lachlan in establishing Bassingthwaighte Livestock Marketing in 2014.  With a background in Administration and Accounting, Mary manages the BLM office while also mothering their 3 children.

Mary enjoys running, fitness and family time.
